The Story of Katlyn

Once upon a time, a mean king ruled a country. The people did not like the mean king. One day, 15 year old Katlyn lived with her 7 year old sister Jenny and mon. Everyday the king would wander beside the river. The river was really deep, deep enough to drown the king.

There were lifeguards to rescue people who fall into the river. Well, the king was so mean that even the lifeguards didn't want to rescue the king if he fell. But one day he really fell. Katlyn was scared as she heard a giant SPLASH!

She came running out to find the guards having a nap. The king was in the middle of the water shouting "Help, Help, HELP!" and Katlyn was frightened. But she knew she had to be brave Jenny and her mom were watching from the window. She jumped into the river without knowing she was not wearing her swimming suit. At last she saved the king. The king promised not to be mean anymore and gave Katlyn a gold medal. Katlyn was the country's hero! Katlyn was never forgotten. (The End!)
